# waitlistn

> waitlistn is a QR code waitlist and virtual queue app for small businesses, pop-ups and events. The host shows a QR code; every guest who scans it gets their own number and a live place-in-line page, and the host notifies them by text message, WhatsApp or email when it is their turn.

Guests need no app and no account: they scan with their phone camera and their spot opens in the browser. The host runs the line from one phone screen.

## What it does

- Scan to join: every scan gives that guest their own number and a live place-in-line page.
- Notifications: the host calls guests by text message (SMS), WhatsApp or email, or guests just watch their page.
- Host app on a phone: see who is waiting, swipe to notify or remove someone, call the next person, and add walk-ins by hand (name, party size, how to reach them).
- Limited stock or capacity: set how many are available and a per-person limit; guests see roughly what is left at their turn.
- Website form: put the same line on your own website with a copy-paste snippet, so online sign-ups land in the line you run in person.
- Sign in with an emailed link, or with a passkey (Face ID, Touch ID or your phone's lock).

Paid plans only; anyone can try a line on the homepage before paying. Plans are limited by guests, and text and WhatsApp alerts are included for those guests.

- Event: $39 one time, one event, 250 guests.
- Pro: $79 a month, 500 guests a month.
- Business: $199 a month, 5,000 guests a month.

Pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

## Common questions

- Do guests need to download an app? No. They scan a QR code with the phone camera and their spot opens in the browser.
- Can I add someone who walked up without a phone? Yes. Add them by name in the host app and choose no notification.
- How do guests know when it is their turn? The host sends a text, WhatsApp message or email, and the guest's page updates live.
- Can people join from my website? Yes. The host app gives you a snippet to paste into your site.
- Is there a free plan? No. You can try a line on the homepage before choosing a plan.
- What will the charge look like on my statement? WAITLISTAPP.ORG. waitlistn is run by Waitlist App (waitlistapp.org), which handles billing.
